2027 Pre-Registration Terms
WAI-LEGAL-PREREG-v1-20260316 | Effective March 2026
Walking Adventures International, Inc. | 522 W Riverside Ave, Suite 7220 | Spokane, WA 99201
1. What Pre-Registration Is — and Is Not
Pre-registration is not a booking. It does not reserve a confirmed place on a tour. It is a fully refundable expression of interest that secures your position in the priority queue when formal booking opens.
Walking Adventures International (“WAI”) is offering pre-registration for its 2027 tour season while itineraries, dates, and pricing are still being finalized. Pre-registration allows interested travelers to:
- Signal genuine interest in one or more 2027 destinations;
- Secure their position in the priority queue for that destination;
- Receive first notice when formal booking opens;
- Access the lowest published price at the time formal booking opens (see Section 5).
Pre-registration is not a contract for tour services. No dates, itineraries, or prices are guaranteed. WAI is not obligated to operate any specific destination, and pre-registration does not oblige you to proceed to formal booking.
Upon formal booking, the relationship is governed by WAI’s General Terms and Conditions.
2. The Pre-Registration Deposit
The pre-registration deposit is $200 per person per destination. It is fully refundable at any time prior to formal booking, without conditions, fees, or deductions.
Each destination pre-registration is independent — you may pre-register for multiple destinations, each with a separate $200 deposit, and each is independently refundable.
The deposit is processed through WAI’s payment platform, powered by Stripe. Payment card details are handled entirely within Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure and are not stored by WAI.
The $200 deposit is credited in full toward the Initial Deposit due at formal booking. If the Initial Deposit exceeds $200, only the balance will be due.
3. Refundability
Your $200 deposit is fully refundable — in full, to your original payment card, without any conditions, penalties, or processing fees.
3.1 You Change Your Mind
You may request a refund at any time before formal booking. No deadline, no reason needed. Contact fun@walkingadventures.com.
3.2 WAI Does Not Operate the Tour
If WAI determines a 2027 destination will not proceed, WAI will notify all pre-registrants and refund the full deposit within fourteen (14) days.
3.3 You Are Invited to Book but Decline
If you choose not to proceed after receiving a booking invitation, your deposit will be refunded within fourteen (14) days of your notice of non-participation or the booking invitation deadline, whichever is earlier.
3.4 Refund Timing and Method
All refunds are processed to the original payment card, typically within three to ten business days depending on your card issuer. If the original card is no longer active, contact WAI to arrange an alternative method.
4. Priority Access — How the Queue Works
Pre-registrants are placed in a priority queue in the order deposits are received. When formal booking opens, invitations are extended in queue order. Because WAI keeps group sizes intentionally small, queue position matters.
4.1 Multiple Departures
If interest supports more than one departure, WAI may open a second. Pre-registrants for the original dates get first choice.
4.2 Queue Position Disclosure
WAI does not guarantee disclosure of your specific position number. The booking invitation will indicate whether spots are available and the response deadline.
5. Early-Bird Pricing
As a pre-registrant, you will have access to the lowest published price at the time formal booking opens — before any price increases as the tour fills. If WAI offers a lower promotional price to general registrants after pre-registrant booking opens, WAI will honor that lower price for pre-registrants who have already booked.
Early-bird pricing applies to the base tour price only. Optional add-ons, single supplements, extensions, and airfare are not subject to this commitment.
6. From Pre-Registration to Formal Booking
6.1 Booking Invitation
When a destination is confirmed, WAI will send a booking invitation by email including:
- Confirmed tour dates and departure options;
- Final day-by-day itinerary;
- Final pricing, including base price, single supplement, and add-ons;
- The balance of Initial Deposit due (your $200 will be credited);
- A response deadline to retain your priority place.
6.2 Response Deadline
The deadline will be no fewer than fourteen (14) days from the invitation date. If you need more time, contact WAI before it expires.
6.3 Transition to General Terms and Conditions
Once you submit a formal booking and pay the deposit balance, your participation is governed by WAI’s General Terms and Conditions. These Pre-Registration Terms cease to apply except for refund rights that accrued prior to booking.
7. WAI’s Commitments to Pre-Registrants
- Your $200 deposit is fully refundable at any time;
- You will receive priority notification and access when formal booking opens;
- You will not be charged more than the lowest published base price available to general registrants at the same time;
- WAI will communicate promptly if a destination does not proceed.
Beyond these commitments, WAI does not make representations about specific dates, pricing, itinerary, or operation of any 2027 destination at the time of pre-registration.
8. No Guarantee of a Confirmed Place
Pre-registration does not guarantee a confirmed place. Your confirmed place is established when you submit a formal registration, pay the deposit balance, and receive a booking confirmation. If the tour fills before your queue position, WAI will refund your deposit and offer priority access to alternatives.
9. Pre-Registering for Multiple Destinations
You may pre-register for as many destinations as you wish. Each carries a separate $200 deposit, queue position, and refundability right. There is no obligation to proceed for any destination — you may decline all invitations and receive full refunds.
10. Data and Payment Handling
Personal information is processed in accordance with WAI’s Privacy Policy. Payment is processed by Stripe; WAI does not store card details. Confirmation communications are sent via Brevo.
By pre-registering, you consent to WAI contacting you by email with booking updates and your formal invitation. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time without affecting your pre-registration status or queue position.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Spokane County, Washington.
12. Amendments
WAI may update these Terms as the 2027 season develops. If WAI makes a material change that reduces your rights, WAI will notify you and provide thirty (30) days to request a full refund.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement with respect to your 2027 pre-registration. They do not govern tour participation, which is subject to WAI’s General Terms and Conditions upon formal booking.
